Post-Covid Recovery – £550
Covid-19 is still a relatively new illness and scientists continue to learn more about it. We do not yet have all the answers. It was initially thought to only affect the respiratory system. However, now it is understood to affect any organ in the body, including the heart.
Many people who get Covid, continue to have symptoms for up to four weeks. Patients suffering with symptoms of Covid for more than 12-weeks are considered to have long-Covid. Symptoms experienced at onset may be different from those at 12-weeks. It is also possible to have a mild dose of Covid and still go onto have long-Covid, potentially with new and different symptoms. Common symptoms at onset and after several weeks are listed below:
Common first symptoms | Common symptoms of long-Covid |
---|---|
New and continuous cough | Breathlessness |
