Specialist Chest Infection

Specialist Chest Infection – £635

Chest infections are common and can often be mild. However, in some cases they are more serious, recur regularly and can even be fatal. Patients with other conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease or those recovering from other illnesses, such as Covid, can also be more susceptible to chest infections. Other groups of people that are more likely to suffer from chest infections include: those who are very overweight, smokers, the immuno-suppressed, the elderly and those who are pregnant.

Symptoms of a chest infection include:

  • On-going cough
  • Bringing-up thick mucus or blood when coughing
  • Breathlessness
  • Difficult breathing
  • Chest pain
  • Wheezing
  • A fever
  • Increased heart rate or palpitations
  • Feeling confused

Chest infections, particularly acute, recurring, or on-going, can be very serious and warrant specialist medical intervention. That is why we have created this package, to give you the answers you need and to arm you with a management plan to improve your quality of life and reduce your overall risk of chest infections.
